Lead Mobile Application Developer (React Native)

Job Description:

As the Lead Mobile Application Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience for our iOS and Android applications. You will work closely with the CEO, and technology team lead to translate innovative ideas into pixel-perfect, user-friendly mobile applications. This is a hands-on role that demands technical expertise, a strong eye for design, and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced startup environment. The business is headquartered in Philadelphia, so you must be willing to work in Eastern Standard Time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mobile Development: Lead the development of our mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native.

• Design Implementation: Build pixel-perfect UIs based on Figma designs, ensuring seamless integration and a smooth user experience.

• Collaboration: Work with the CEO and technology team to prioritize features, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality results.

• Technical Excellence: Ensure the app adheres to best practices, including responsiveness, performance, and scalability.

• Process Management: Manage CI/CD workflows, version control (Git), and testing pipelines to ensure streamlined development.

• Innovation: Contribute to strategic discussions about leveraging generative AI and other cutting-edge technologies to enhance our product.

Requirements:

• Technical Expertise:

• ‍Proficiency in React Native for mobile app development.
• Experience with backend integration using Python Django and databases like PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS

• Design Implementation

• Demonstrated ability to build pixel-perfect designs from tools like Figma.

• Workflow Proficiency:

• Strong understanding of Git version control and CI/CD workflows.

• Experience:

• A proven track record of delivering high-quality mobile applications
